1/4 ounce package of Safflower, also known as Mexican Saffron or American Saffron, is made from the stigmata of the safflower.  Mexican saffron will add a beautiful yellow color to your meals similar to Spanish Saffron, but without the flavor of true saffron.  For golden color in your dishes, add a pinch rice, soups, fish, or other dishes.  Mexican saffron has also been used as an alternative remedy for stomach issues.
