Product Information These corn husks are perfect for making tamales. One 8 ounce package is more than enough to make several dozen tamales. When using these corn husks to make tamales, you will need to soak them for about an hour in hot water before spreading masa harina on them. The easiest way to do this is to bring a large pot of water just to a boil, place your corn husks in the sink (with the stopper in, of course), then carefully pour the water over the husks and let them sit until they soften. We have found that it also helps to pat the husks with a paper towel to dry them off a bit before spreading the masa.
