This 4.4 pound bag of Maseca Instant corn Masa Mix is made from finely ground corn, lime and water, and is made specifically for making tamale dough.  This bag includes a simple recipe for red chile tamales, and uses only a few basic ingredients to make authentic Southwestern style tamales, including dried chile pasilla or california chile pods* and corn husks.


*You can also use Hot New Mexico Dried chiles if you would like more heat in your tamales
